I completed studies in all three sciences to Higher level and Chemistry and Physics at Advanced Higher level. I went on to study Molecular biology at Edinburgh University from which I graduated in 2008 with a 1st class degree BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences.

From the beginning of this year I have been working voluntarily as a Classroom assistant for 2 days a week in Queensferry High School (Edinburgh) as part of the Assisted Support for Learning team. During this time I was accepted onto the secondary teacher training course (PGDE) at Strathclyde University commencing late August.

I have experience of tutoring and have a thorough knowledge of the biology curriculum due to my previous tutoring experience and time spent in the classroom.
